We offer appointments with a doctor or a nurse, or a telephone appointment with a doctor, by request. There is a choice of eight doctors ( 3 male and 5 female) and 2 nurses who have different skill mixes.

You can ring the surgery on 0151 691 1112, come to the surgery in person or go online (if you have already  registered for online services) to arrange any of these appointments.
The reception staff will ask you to give us a brief general idea of the problem. This is so that the staff member can direct you to the service that is most appropriate for your needs in a timely way. We deal with a wide variety of problems, from requests for letters to people being suddenly seriously ill, and we need to be able to make sure your needs are cared for accurately and in the right time frame. Please help the receptionist as much as possible in this. All information is entirely confidential.
Doctors' appointments are 10 minutes long and each is for one problem. If you try and bring 2 or more problems to the consultation, the doctor may ask you to book another appointment for the other items because otherwise the time allocated for each would be too short to be safe or effective. Patients wanting to deal with more than one problem is a major reason why Doctors' surgeries run late and we very much wish to minimise this for everyone.
